Happy Spring Break Tarheels!
Have you always wanted to go thrift shopping with your friends? Do you have old clothes taking up space in your wardrobe? Do you want to update your wardrobe in a sustainable manner?
From now until April 1st, RHA will be collecting used items like clothing, school supplies, and larger items commonly used in the day to day life of a typical student. In exchange, for every item donated, a participant will get a certain amount of tickets they can use to exchange for other items at RHA’s largest sustainability event of the spring: THRIFTY SWAP! It will be held on Monday, April 6th from 1-4 pm in the Gift Plaza next to the Union.
Don’t have items to donate? No need to worry! On April 6th, we will have several environmental organizations tabled at Thrifty Swap. Visit their tables, get a card stamped, and you will be able to exchange that for an item!
