First Year Students
The Residence Hall Association welcomes you to Carolina!
We are excited that you have made the right choice to live on-campus this year.
To learn more about what you should bring to UNC, click here! For tips for success as a First Year Student, check out our list!
We encourage First Year Students to get involved on campus in different student organizations, student government, musical groups, club and intermural sports, etc., as soon as possible.
Within RHA, First Year Students are welcome to run for Governor of their community in the Fall or apply to be a member of community government. No previous RHA or leadership experience is required and getting involved with RHA is a great way to meet people in your residence hall.
However, in order to prepare you for your first year at UNC, we have provided you with some helpful resources. Below is a list of important university websites and resources that every Tar Heel should know in order to be successful.
